Belvedere and CTFC take Cape Town Fashion Week by Storm

Luxury and fashion have always been associated with Belvedere Vodka’s trademark events, so South Africa’s fashion elite, celebrities and notable industry luminaires descended to Cape Town to attend the Mother City’s fashion week.

Belvedere Vodka and Cape Town Fashion Council stayed true to form and hosted an exclusive opening night celebration party on Thursday, 08 August 2013 at one of the city’s hottest venues, Orphanage Cocktail Emporium.

South Africa’s fashionistas David Tlale, Malcolm Kluk, Christiaan Gabriel du Toit, and socialites Jen Su, Liezel van der Westhuizen, Natalie Becker, Kia Johnson, Jonathan Boynton-Lee, Tracey Lange, Leigh-Anne Williams and Katlego Maboe were out mingling and sipping away on two custom created Belvedere Vodka cocktails, Belvedere Stiletto Fizz and Belvedere Parcha Mule.

The swanky combination of meticulous detail and styled interior décor of Orphanage juxtaposed the latest innovative fashion on display throughout the evening. VIP guests snacked on gourmet snacks, including confit duck crocket on orange gastric with citrus marmalade and micro greens as well as salmon roses on cucumber discs finished with dill chevin and citrus pearls, which were paired with the exclusive Belvedere cocktails.

The trademark Belve Models, dressed by MilQ and Honey, were at the very cutting edge of the latest trends, literally right off the catwalk. Reto Style Lounge, one of South Africa’s leading avant garde hair stylists, imagined a visual interpretation of the Belvedere Trees, and the exceptionally creative David Sharp worked his magic with the Belve Models make-up.
