Brian O'Driscoll Invests in Whiskey

Former Ireland rugby captain and the most capped test player of all time, Brian O'Driscoll, has bought a stake in the Glendalough Irish Whiskey Distillery.

Estabished in 2011, The distillery will launch its first whiskey – a seven-year-old Irish single malt – later this month.

Barry Gallagher, Glendalough's managing director said: "We have built our distillery in Wicklow, successfully launched in the US and Australia and we're delighted to have Brian O'Driscoll on board as an investor in our company," he added.
