Warm baked apples, toasted pecans, the taste of the cracker crust on Grandma's homemade pies, those memorable and loveable flavours are hot out the oven in Piehole – a blend of Canadian Whiskey and pie-flavoured liqueur.
Piehole, best sliced up as a shot, launched in the US this month in the following flavours that your pie hole is sure to love: Apple Pie, Cherry Pie and Pecan Pie. Inspired by Grandma's favourite pie recipes, this new-to-world product line features pie liqueur flavoured whiskeys aged between four to eight years and bottled in Canada.
Piehole Apple Pie Canadian Whiskey with flavored liqueur has the sweetness of apple pie filling and baked crust with a hint of cinnamon and clove spice. Piehole Pecan Pie has the distinctive taste of toasted nutty pecans with background notes of bourbon vanilla extract, dark brown sugar, and baked pie crust. Piehole Cherry Pie balances sweet baked cherries with notes of buttery pastry and baked pie crust.
"Many people remember that feeling you get when you first taste Grandma's pies fresh from the oven," said Kristin Markovich, senior innovation manager, whiskey. "Piehole is our way of bringing that delicious memory to consumers for any fun occasion and we hope people everywhere will open their pie holes to try these three mouth-watering flavours."
