Glenmorangie named a Hot Prospect Brand

Glenmorangie celebrates its third consecutive year being named a Hot Prospect Brand by Impact Magazine.

Impact, a source for global news and research for the spirits, beer and wine industries, holds rigorous standards in deciding which brands deserve a place on its annual "Hot Prospects" list. These requirements include brands reaching depletions of at least 50,000 nine-litre cases but not over 200,000 in 2013, in addition to a minimum of 15% growth in 2012, and having consistent solid growth the two previous years.

Glenmorangie surpassed the 100,000 case barrier in the U.S. last year. The impressive depletion milestone marks an undeniable growth in popularity for Glenmorangie, which has held the title as the fastest growing Single Malt Scotch Whisky in America for five consecutive years.

A testament to this accomplishment, Glenmorangie won seven Double Gold and Gold awards at the 2014 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, five Gold Outstanding and Gold medals from the 2014 International Wine and Spirit Competition and Jim Murray named Glenmorangie Ealanta World Whisky of The Year in his 2014 Whisky Bible.

Maxime Balay, Glenmorangie U.S. Brand Director, remarked "to receive recognition as an exceptional brand from industry experts, like those leading Impact magazine, is a prestigious honour that the Glenmorangie family celebrates enthusiastically. Not only does the award acknowledge our commitment to craft 'Unnecessarily Well Made' whiskies, but it drives us to reach for even greater heights in the years to come".
