Bermuda's national drink, the Dark 'n Stormy, will be introduced to America's Cup fans everywhere during two years of international events.
Gosling's has been named the Official Rum and Official Ginger Beer of the 35th America's Cup, which includes two years of Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series events, building up to the final races to be staged in Bermuda in 2017. These products include the award winning Gosling's Black Seal Rum, a new Gosling's Gold Seal Rum, Gosling's Family Reserve Old Rum, Gosling's Stormy Ginger Beer and the new Dark 'n Stormy cocktail in a can - a ready-to-drink version of the popular cocktail. Long a local institution, Gosling's has a history that even pre-dates the America's Cup competition, which is the oldest trophy in international sport, having its start in 1851. William Gosling arrived by sailing ship in Bermuda in 1806 to launch what is now in its seventh generation of Gosling family ownership. The Gosling's spirits shop in Hamilton has operated for over 127 years in the same Front Street location.
